HomeMy WebLinkAbout840764 RESOLUTION RE: GRANT MOBILE HOME PERMIT NO. 868 - ESTHER BINDER WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado , and WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners , on the 16th day of May , 1984 , considered the request of Esther Binder to use one mobile home as a temporary storage beyond six months , and WHEREAS , said mobile home is to be used in an A-Agricultural Zone District on a parcel of land more particularly described as follows: SW4, Section 20 , Township 4 North, Range 67 West of the 6th P .M. , Weld County, Colorado WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners, having heard the testimony, finds that said request should be granted sub- ject to the following condition: the mobile home shall not be occupied as a residence as long as it is under the temporary storage classification. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com- missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the request of Esther Binder to place a mobile home to be used as a temporary storage beyond six months on the hereinabove described parcel of land, which was found to be in compliance with Section 43 of the Weld County Zoning Ordinance be, and hereby is, granted sub- ject to the condition as above listed. Legal Description of Parcel: SW4, Section 20, T4N, R67W of the 6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado Location: Approximately 2 3/4 miles south of Johnstown; west of Weld County Road 17 and north of Weld County Road 42. The Department of Planning Services staff has reviewed this request and recommends that the request be approved for the reasons: WILL WILL NOT X Be compatible with the Weld County Comprehensive Plan X Be compatible with the surrounding area X Be in harmony with the character of the neighborhood X Adversely affect the immediate area NA NA Be adequately served by water and sewage disposal facilities X Adversely affect the general health, safety and welfare of the inhabitants of the area and the County COMMENTS: On September 9, 1982 the Department of Planning Services issued ZPMH 663 to Mrs. Binder as a temporary use during the construction/remodeling of a residence. On September 9, 1983 the Department of Planning Services changed the classification of the mobile home to temporary storage (ZPMH 790) ; remodeling of the residence was finished. ZPMH 790 was good for six (6) months and it expired on March 9, 1984. The Board of County Commissioners may grant an extension to this permit (see Section 43.2.2.6 of the Weld County Zoning Ordinance) , and if approved, it would expire on September 9, 1984. Removal of the mobile home would be required by September 9, 1984. The Department of Planning Services has not received any objections regarding this application. The Department of Planning Services staff recommendation for approval is conditional upon: 1.
