The Aid to the Needy Disabled caseload decreased by 33 households while Old Age Pension increased by 46 in March. This reflects the switch of sane disabled recipients over the age of 60 moving to Old Age Pension, as a result of a State Supreme Court Decision removing durational residence requirements. Other caseloads remained stable. The Department expects to feel the effects of the Monfort plant closure as well as the migrant worker influx during April. Expenditures for March (excluding Old Age Pension and Food Stamps) were $648,394. This amount was $7,362 under the previous month but $46,584 more than-the same month in 1979. Total expenditures for the Department remained within budget with 24.3t expended after 3 months. EMcKenna:rh 8o0li1 4-3-80 Hello
