RESOLUTION
• RE: APPROVAL OF ADDENDUM TO LEGAL SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN
THE WELD COUNTY ATTORNEY AND THE DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL
SERVICES AND AUTHORIZATION FOR CHAIRMAN TO SIGN THE SAME.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Attorney and the Department of
Social Services entered into an agreement dated June 13 , 1977
for the providing of legal services by the Weld County Attorney
to the Department of Social Services, and
WHEREAS, the parties to said agreement desire to amend the
agreement to provide for a maximum dollar expenditure by the •
Weld County Attorney for calendar year 1980 , and
WHEREAS, an addendum to said agreement has been prepared
reflecting such amendment, and
WHEREAS, the Board deers it advisable to approve the addendum.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the Addendum to Legal
Services Agreement between the Weld County Attorney and the Depart-
ment of Social Services be, and hereby is , approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners
that the Chairman of the Board is hereby authorized to sign said
Addendum.
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 16th day of
March, A.D. , 1981 .

ADDENDUM TO LEGAL SERVICES AGREEMENT
THIS ADDENDUM is made and entered into this 16th day of
March, 1981, nunc pro tunc January 1, 1980, by and between the
BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS, Weld County, Colorado, on behalf
of the WELD COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES, and the WELD
COUNTY ATTORNEY.
WHEREAS, the parties hereto entered into an agreement dated
June 13, 1977 , concerning the providing of legal services by the
Weld County Attorney to the Weld County Department of Social
Services, and
WHEREAS, expenditures by the Weld County Attorney for
calendar year 1980 exceeded the dollar limitation imposed by said
agreement by the sum of FOUR THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED AND SIXTY ONE
DOLLARS ($4 ,961. 00) , and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the parties hereto to amend
said Agreement for Legal Services to provide for a maximum dollar

expenditure for the Weld County Attorney for calendar year 1980
in the amount of FORTY SEVEN THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED AND SIXTY ONE
DOLLARS ($47 ,261. 00) .
NOW, THEREFORE, it is mutually agreed by the parties hereto
that the "Agreement for Legal Services" made and entered into
by the parties hereto on June 13, 1977 , be amended by the addi-
tion of a new paragraph to read as follows:
"During calendar year 1980, expenditures pur-
suant to this contract, shall not exceed the
sum of $47,261. 00. "
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have entered into
this Addendum on the day and year first above written.
