RE: RESCINDING RESOLUTION CONCERNING RELINQUISHMENT OF MINERAL
RIGHTS IN TOWN OF HUDSON
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, on the 30th day of March, 1983 , the Board, by Reso-
lution, approved the sale of the mineral rights on Lots 1 through
7 and Lots 17 through 23 in Block 23 and Lots 17 through 23 in
Block 24 , all in the Town of Hudson, and
WHEREAS, the Board, after further study of this matter, has
found that said mineral rights are presently being leased by Mr.
H. L. Willett, Denver, Colorado, said lease to expire on the 25th
day of July, 1983 , and
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that it is in the best
interests of Weld County that the Resolution of March 30 , 1983 ,
authorizing the sale of the mineral rights on the above described
Lots in Block 23 and Block 24 , all in the Town of Hudson, be rescinded.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the Resolution of March
30 , 1983 , authorizing the sale of the mineral rights on Lots 1
through 7 and Lots 17 through 23 in Block 23 and Lots 17 through
23 in Block 24 , in the Town of Hudson, be, and hereby is , rescinded.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 6th day of
April, A.D. , 1983.
