RE: APPROVAL OF SUBDIVISION EXEMPTION NO. 218 - MARY ELLEN
ALT, ET AL.
WHEREAS the Board of County Commisisoners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners has reviewed
the request of Mary Ellen Alt, et al. , for an exemption from the

The Department of Planning Services staff has reviewed this request and
recommends that the request be approved for the following reasons:

COMMENTS:
Mizel Gas Processing Inc. of Denver, Colorado is in the process of developing
a gas field near Kersey. They are seeking a Subdivision Exemption to obtain
clear title to a three (3) acre tract of land southeast of Kersey. This site
will be utilized for a gas processing plant; the Subdivision Exemption does
not create a building site nor the right to construct a residence.

This letter is to advise you that Mizel Gas Processing, Inc. , as
authorized agent for Mary Ellen Alt et al, has signed the enclosed
documents pertaining to the Application for Approval of Subdivision
Exemption.
Mizel Gas Processing, Inc. (MGPI) received verbal approval to
act as agent for Mary Ellen Alt et al on March 26, 1984.
Please be advised that MGPI is in the process of purchasing the
referenced three-acre parcel of land. Said purchase should be com-
pleted by the time the Subdivision Exemption Application comes up for
hearing. Mary Ellen Alt et al are currently in the process of circu-
lating the Bill of Sale and Warranty Deed for execution by all the
parties. Additionally, MGPI has tendered adequate consideration to

The location of the parcel of land for which this application has been
submitted is approximately 1-1/4 miles southeast of Kersey; east of WCR 55
and north of WCR 52
This application is submitted to your office for review and recommenda-
tions. Any comments or recommendations you consider relevant to this

Dear Mrs. Chesnut:
Your application and related materials for the request described above are
complete and in order at the present time. I have scheduled a meeting with
the Board of County Commissioners on Wednesday, May 23, 1984 at 2:00 p.m.
This meeting will take place in the County Commissioners' Hearing Room, first
floor, Weld County Centennial Center, 915 10th Street, Greeley, Colorado. It
is recommended that you and/or a representative be in attendance to answer any
questions the Board of County Commissioners members might have with respect to
your application.
The Department of Planning Services staff will make a recommendation
concerning this application to the Board of County Commissioners. It is the
responsibility of an applicant to contact the Department of Planning Services
office a few days before the date of the Board of County Commissioners hearing
