RE: ABATEMENT OF TAXES - STANDARD GAS SUPPLY CORPORATION
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Colorado Revised Statutes 39-1-113 ,
1973 , as amended, a hearing was held on the 27th day of May,
1981, on petition number 1 of Standard Gas Supply Corporation
for abatement of taxes for the year 1980 in the amount of
$1, 680. 87, and
WHEREAS, at such hearing H. H. Hansen, Weld County Assessor,
was present, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado has considered the petition and the evidence presented,
and does find that the assessment in the aforementioned tax abate-
ment matter were improper, and therefore should be abated for the
calendar year 1980 , and
WHEREAS, said petition was submitted to the Property Tax
Administrator of the State of Colorado, who has reviewed said
petition and approved the action of the Board of County Commis-
sioners of Weld County, Colorado, said approval having been made
on the 3rd day of June, 1981.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the aforementioned matter
for abatement of taxes on property owned by the aforementioned
taxpayers be, and hereby is, allowed to the extent as set forth
in this Resolution.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 24th day of
June, A.D. , 1981.

An erroneous intra-county apportionment was made by the Division of
Property Taxation for the year 1980. The total assessed valuation of
$86,000 was attributed to Weld County. The correct intra-county
apportionment is Weld County $64,000 and Chaf fee County $22,000.
