RESOLUTION
RE: FORT LUPTON GRADER SHED DOOR AND INSTALLATION
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statutes and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Section 14-9 of the Weld County Home Rule Charter
specifies the bidding procedures for county purchasing, and
WHEREAS, advertising for bids was let on this material and
labor on January 8, 1981, and
WHEREAS, suppliers did not submit bids, and
WHEREAS, on August 31, 1981 Freshour' s Construction did
submit a proposal for said door and its installation, totaling
$3, 756. 00, and
WHEREAS, due to the time frame, the Board of County Comm-
issioners deems it advisable and in the best interests of Weld
County to waive advertising in this matter and further to
approve the one proposal submitted by Freshour' s Construction,
totaling $3, 756. 00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado that readvertising for
said door and its installation be waived.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners
that the Purchasing agent be, and hereby is, authorized to
accept the bid proposal submitted by Freshour' s Construction,
totaling $3 ,756. 00, a copy of which is attached hereto and
made a part hereof by reference.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly
made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 8th
day of September, A.D. , 1981.
