COMMENTS:
There have been several mobile homes approved in this area. The parcel to the southwest
of this parcel has a nice home. These parcels are off private access roads which must
be brought to County standards before acceptance by the County for maintainance. To
the east of this property is a sand hill, great for getting stuck on. The access to
this property is the southerly of the two private access roads and the westerly portion
has been improved to some extent because of the oil activity in this section.

To Whom It May Concern:
My husband and I wish to locate a mobile home on our acreage in Weld County as our
principal dwelling for many reasons, the basic being as follows:
1 . Family - With three children (Ages, 17, 15, and 7 yrs. ), we feel
it would give them the opportunity of raising animals, provide
them an unlimited space to roam and grow, something which they
presently do not have in city living. Our two oldest our boys,
and currently we are boarding a 3 yr. old horse (which we have owned
for one year) and 2 calves. Both are interested in horses and
our 15 yr. old has showed an interest in joining the rodeo. Our
youngest is following in her brothers' steps and also loves animals.
My husband grew up on a farm in Nebraska and after 11 years in the
city is very excited and anxious to move to the so-called "country".
After 8 yrs. in the Air Force, we rented a farm in Stratton, Nebraska
and raised our own garden, hogs, chickens, etc. We moved to Denver
because employment was unstable and we could better ourselves by
the move. In general , all members of our family are ready to do
their part in regard to our future move - even after our children
are married, or off on their own, we look at it as an investment
not only for now, but also for our future grandchildren.
2. Expense - We have looked at numerous mobiles and two local modular
units and found the mobile to be as well constructed as the modulars
(after visiting 2 mobile factories, one of which also builds mobiles) .
The mobile unit will cost us far less to set up (considering both the
purchase price and permits involved) In addition, the modular unit
would require a foundation, furnace, electric & plumbing hookups (which
are included in mobile costs and handled thru our dealer) . In the
future, we plan to brick or moss rock the foundation of our mobile
and this will add to its appearance.
3. Retirement - Yes, we could purchase a $60,000-$70,000 home, but we
feel the mobile unit we've choosen will fit our needs now and in the
future. Not having steep house payments will allow us for improvements
such as correls, additional buildings, and livestock and provide our
children and ourselves with other things that we enjoy. There' s more
to life than a house payment: By the time we retire, we' ll have a
comfortable, paid home, and the acreage to enjoy.
We've put a lot of thought and planning when purchasing our land and mobile - not just
for now, but also the future.
