D PMW n APR fi 1983.. x;; <+q tom , Weld Co. Planning Commission April 6, 1983 Department of Planning Services Request to Locate Accessory Dwelling Letter of Explanation Planning Staff, In October of 1981 my brother Mike and I purchased an 80 acre farm from Thomas V. Reed. At the time, both Mike and I were renting the houses we were living in. Soon after the purchase Mike moved into the existing house on the farm, and is living there now. It is now my wish to also own my own home, and building on this farm in this proposed location is the logical answer. Our home will be located on approximately 1 acre of land, using the remainder of the farm for farming purposes only . The proposed sight is located on the least productive land on the entire farm. It is located in a corner of the farm where irrigation is most difficult because of short point rows on a slope. Little farmland will be lost, therefore the site is ideal for a home. The proposed dwelling is also centrally located to all of the farms that our produce business rents or owns, making it very convenient for me in the future.
