ATTN: Chief Ceretto
Dear Chief Ceretto:
The Board of County Commissioners recently declared the residence
on the Koenig Farm to be surplus property. It was felt by the
Board that the abandoned residence could pose a potential danger
because of its condition. The residence was advertised for sale
by bid, but we received no bids.
We understand that you are interested in using the building for
fire protection practice. The Board of County Commissioners has
authorized you to burn the building and use it for fire protection
practice. Before doing so, please check to make sure that all
utilities are disconnected and adequate safety precautions are
taken. After completing your practice, please dispose of any
debris that m17 pose a potential danger.
Thank you.
Very truly yours ,
C. W. Kirby, Chairman
Board of County Commissioners
