RESOLUTION
RE: AUTHORIZATION FOR THE WELD COUNTY ATTORNEY TO PROCEED WITH
LEGAL ACTION AGAINST MABEL SCHAFFER FOR VIOLATION OF THE
WELD COUNTY ZONING ORDINANCE, DOG KENNEL WITHOUT PROPER
PERMITS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Department of Planning Services has
informed the Board of County Commissioners that Mabel Schaffer is
in violation of Section 31. 4 of the Weld County Zoning Ordinance,
dog kennel without proper permits in the A-Agricultural Zone Dis-
trict, and
WHEREAS, the property on which said violation is occurring
is described as Lot 5, Block 79, Aristocrat Ranchettes Subdivision,
Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, despite repeated requests, said violation has not
been corrected, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it necessary to bring legal action
against Mabel Schaffer to correct said violation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that Thomas O. David, Weld
County Attorney, be, and hereby is, authorized to proceed with
legal action against Mabel Schaffer, 7396 Patrick Street, Ft. Lupton,
Colorado 80621, for violation of the Weld County Zoning Ordinance,
dog kennel without proper permits.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 20th day of
April, A.D. , 1983.
