RE: APPOINTMENT OF FATHER ANTHONY BLISS TO PLACEMENT ALTERNATIVES
COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, it has come to the attention of the Board of County
Commissioners that a vacancy exists on the Placement Alternatives
Commission as Barbara Dominguez can no longer serve on said Com-
mission, and
WHEREAS, Barbara Dominguez was appointed as a citizen repre-
sentative with an affiliation to Partner ' s, Inc. , and
WHEREAS, Father Anthony Bliss, 1025 Fulton Avenue, Fort
Lupton, Colorado, is qualified to fill the vacancy and therefore,
the Placement Alternatives Commission has recommended that the
Board of County Commissioners appoint Father Anthony Bliss to
serve on said Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commis-
sioners of Weld County, Colorado that Father Anthony Bliss, 1025
Fulton Avenue, Fort Lupton, Colorado, be, and hereby is, appointed
to serve on the Placement Alternatives Commission.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 26th day of
March, A.D. , 1980.

Dear Mr. Roe:
On behalf of the Weld County Placement Alternatives Commission I am
requesting that the Board of County Commissioners appoint Father
Anthony Bliss, 1025 Fulton Avenue, Fort Lupton, to replace Ms. Dominguez.
its. Dominguez has accepted employment so can no longer serve on the
Commission.
Ms. Dominguez was appointed as a citizen representative with an affiliation
to Partner's, Inc. Father Bliss can fit into this same position as he
is also a member of the Partner's Board. He also serves as a Senior
Partner. His appointment would also serve to strengthen representation
from the south county area.

Dear Mr. Roe,
I am writing in regards to my assignment to the Placement
Alternatives Commission. I personally regret to inform you that
I can no longer participate on the board.
In talking with Mr. Eugen Mckenna, I have sumitted Father
Anthony Bliss as my alternate. It was discussed that a represent-
ive or alternate could take the place of an appointed member.
With your approval, I feel comfortable in recommending Father
Bliss. We have worked together on the Executive Committee for
Partners of Weld County. He has always shown a great deal of
enthusiasum and support for both the Children and the community.
Thank you for the positive, unfortunately brief, experiance
sitting on the Alternative Commission.
