RE: APPROVAL OF AMENDMENT TO RECORDED EXEMPTION NO. 217 - JOE
J. SEEWALD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners did approve
Recorded Exemption No. 217 for Joe J. Seewald concerning property
described as part of the Nz SW;, Section 31, T3N, R68W of the
6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado on July 14 , 1976, and
WHEREAS, Joe J. Seewald has requested that Recorded Exemp-
tion No. 217 be amended as follows: reduce the size of Lot "B"
from 60. 128 acres to 49. 719 acres and increase the size of Lot
"A" from 1. 285 acres to 10. 691 acres, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has studied said
request to amend Recorded Exemption No. 217 and deems it advis-
able to approve the amendment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the hereinabove amend-
ment to Recorded Exemption No. 217 for Joe J. Seewald be, and
hereby is, approved.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 7th day of
April, A.D. , 1982.

Re: Amendment to Recorded Exemption #217
Dear Commissioners:
The attached application, plat, and related items are in reference to a
request to amend Recorded Exemption #217 from Mr. and Mrs. Seewald. The
property is described as part of the N1 5A, Section 31, T3N, R68W of
the 6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado. This property is located east of
Longmont on Weld County Road 1.
The request reduces the size of Lot "B" from 60.128 acres to 49.719 acres.
Lot "A" will increase in size for 1.285 acres to 10.691 acres. Each parcel
has a single family residence located on it. The property is currently
zoned agriculture.
Based upon the information submitted, the Department of Planning Services
staff recommends approval of this requested amendment for the following
reasons:
1. The impact on surrounding land uses would not appear to be
any different than the original request which has already
been approved.
2. This request is in compliance with Section 9-2 A. of the Weld
County Subdivision Regulations.
