RE : APPROVAL OF AMENDMENT TO RECORDED EXEMPTION NO. 469 -
MR. AND MRS. ERNEST ROWE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has approved
Recorded Exemption No. 469 concerning the property described
as part of the SE Is, Section 22 , Township 2 North, Range 68
West of the 6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS , Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Rowe request that Recorded
Exemption No. 469 be amended by increasing the size of
Lot "B" from 61. 180 acres to 62 . 575 acres, and
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners has studied
said request to amend Recorded Exemption No. 469 and deems it
advisable to approve the amendment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado that the hereinabove
amendment to Recorded Exemption No. 469 for Mr. and Mrs .
Ernest Rowe be, and hereby is, approved.
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly
made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 24th
day of February, A. D. , 1982.

Re: Amendment to Recorded Exemption #469
Dear Commissioners:
The attached application, plat and related items are in reference to a
request to amend Recorded Exemption #469 from Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Rowe.
The property is described as part of the SENXi.Section 22, T2N, R68W of
the 6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado. The property is located 2'12 miles
south of Del Camino adjacent to the west side of I-25.
The request is to amend Recorded Exemption #469 by increasing the size
of Lot "B" from 61.180 acres to 62.575 acres. Mr. Rowe purchased 1.395
acres from the adjacent property to the west of Lot "B" resulting in a
violation of the Weld County Subdivision Regulations. If the amended
Recorded Exemption is approved it will correct the subdivision violation.
Based upon the information submitted, the Department of Planning Services
staff recommends approval of this requested amendement for the following
reasons: •
1. The impact on surrounding agricultural land uses would not
appear to be any different than the original request, which
has been approved.
2. The disposition of the 1.395 acre parcel will be in compliance
with the Subdivision Regulations after approval of the amended
Recorded Exemption.
3. The request is in compliance with Section 9-2 of the Weld County
Subdivision Regulations.

Dear Mr. Cunliffe:
Enclosed you will find an Application to modify the above-
referenced recorded exemption.
Several months ago Mr. and Mrs . Rowe acquired both Parcels A
and B of the above-referenced recorded exemption. Thereafter,
the Rowes acquired an adjacent parcel of land of approximately 1
1/3 acres from their neighbor to the west. It is the wish of Mr.
and Mrs . Rowe to annex the 1 1/3 acres to Parcel B of the
recorded exemption and to treat the 1 1/3 acres as part of Parcel
B for all purposes .
In connection with this desire, you will find enclosed the
Rowes ' check made payable to Weld County in the amount of $95.00,
the Recorded Exemption Application which has been prepared in
recognition that the goal is the annexation of the 1 1/3 acres ,
rather than the division of a single parcel into two separate
exempt parcels, and finally a proposed plat of the recorded
exemption, reflecting the addition of the 1 1/3 acres tract.
I would be grateful if you would cause this Application to
be processed as quickly as possible, but you may feel free to
call upon me to answer any questions either you or your office
may have.
