RE: FINAL REVENUE SHARING AND BUDGET HEARING
A public hearing was conducted on November 13, 1984, at 2:00 P.M. , with the
following present:
Commissioner Norman Carlson, Chairman
Commissioner Jacqueline Johnson, Pro-Tem
Commissioner Gene Brantner
Commissioner Chuck Carlson, Excused
Commissioner John Martin
Also present:
Acting Clerk to the Board, Debbie Campbell
Assistant County Attorney, Bruce T. Barker
Director of Finance, Donald Warden
The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated October 29, 1984, and duly
published November 1, 1984, in the La Salle Leader, a public hearing was
conducted to consider the Final Budget and Revenue Sharing. Don Warden,
Director of Finance, presented this to the Board. He stated that a number
of changes were made based upon the work sessions held October 9 through
October 24, 1984. Mr. Warden made comments on the use of the Conservation
Trust Funds and the overall policy statements made as stated in the
Resolution. Commissioner Johnson made comments concerning the use of the
funds from year-to-year on the Greeley Civic Auditorium and made a
recommendation to amend the Resolution to include that part of the funds be
allocated to the Civic Auditorium each year. Commissioner Johnson moved to
amend the Resolution to include the intent of the Board in regard to future
payments. Commissioner Brantner seconded the motion which carried
unanimously. Commissioner Johnson moved to adopt the Resolution regarding
the use of Conservation Trust Funds as amended and the Resolution regarding
the allocation of 1985 Conservation Trust Funds. Commissioner Brantner
seconded the motion. After further discussion, the motion carried
unanimously. Mr. Warden stated that the Board must adopt the Resolution
summmarizing revenues and expenditures for each fund and adopt a budget for
the County for the calendar year 1985. Commissioner Johnson moved to
approve the Resolution summarizing revenues and expenditures of each fund
and adopt a budget for the County of Weld for calendar year 1985.
Commissioner Martin seconded the motion which carried unanimously. Mr.
Warden read Emergency Ordinances #133 and #134 into the record concerning
Annual Appropriations and setting the mill levy for annual appropriation for
the County for fiscal year 1985. Commissioner Johnson moved to adopt
Ordinance #133 on an emergency basis and direct the Clerk to the Board to
publish forthwith. Commissioner Brantner seconded the motion which carried
unanimously. Commissioner Brantner moved to approve Emergency Ordinance
#134 and direct the Clerk to the Board to publish forthwith. Commissioner
Martin seconded the motion which carried unanimously.

Compliance with Revenue Sharing Handicap Requirements
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in accordance with regulations of the Office of
Revenue Sharing, Weld County does not discriminate on the basis of
handicapped status in admission or access to, or treatment or employment in
its programs and activities. The Affirmative Action Officer of Human
Resources already designated as the 504 Coordinator has been designated the
responsible person to insure County compliance to the Office of Revenue
Sharing handicap regulations. A copy of the 504 plan and policies are
available at the Human Resource Division at 1516 Hospital Road, Greeley,
Colorado. Any grievance concerning handicapped status as it relates to
Weld County can be filed with the Affirmative Action Officer named above at
the above location.

of Revenue Sharing Reports Requirements
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in accordance with regulations of the Office of
Revenue Sharing, Weld County has filed their 1984 General Revenue Sharing
Survey and 1984 Survey of County Government Finances reports on November
13, 1984.
Copies of the reports are on file in the Office of the Clerk to the
Board of County Commissioners located on the 3rd floor, Weld County
Centennial Center, 915 10th Street, Greeley, Colorado and may be inspected
during regular business hours.
