RE: APPOINTMENT OF JUDY EWEGEN TO THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a vacancy exists on the Board of Adjustment in
District 3 due to the resignation of Carroll Miller, and
WHEREAS , it has been recommended that Judy Ewegen be ap-
pointed to said Board to fill the unexpired term of Carroll
Miller, said term to expire on December 31 , 1982 , and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Judy
Ewegen to the Board of Adjustment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that Judy Ewegen be, and
hereby is, appointed to the Board of Adjustment to fill the
unexpired term of Carroll Miller, said term to expire December
31, 1982.
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 14th day of
May, A.D. , 1980 .

Subject: Board of Adjustment Vacancy
Carroll Miller has resigned as District 3 (W. Greeley) representative
on the Board of Adjustment; his term was due to end on December 31, 1982.
He has recommended that Judy Ewegen be considered for appointment to
the BOA to complete his term.
I have attached those District 3 applications which we have on file.
If you wish to consider appointing any of these people, I will contact
them again to ask if they are still interested in serving on the BOA.

This letter is a request to you to accept my resignation as a
member of the Weld County Board of Adjustments.
My reason is simply one of time committment because of my recent
appointment to the Greeley Planning Commission.
I sincerely appreciate the opportunity to have been allowed
to serve on the Board of Adjustments and the experience and knowledge
-I have gained therefrom. Because of this involvement, I have
gained a greater respect for county government and especially for
each of you as Commissioners in making the difficult decisions
you are often faced with.
