WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the to affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and C) WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, did approve a Resolution authorizing the Chairman to U; sign a quit claim deed between Weld County and Harold Baumgartner o for real estate described as part of Section 14, Township 1 North, Range 63 West of the 6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado, in action taken on the 16th day of September, 1981, and WHEREAS, said Resolution was in error and should have read the name of Larry Baumgartner instead of Harold Baumgartner, and WHEREAS, the County Attorney informed the Board of County Commissioners on September 16, 1981, that the parcel of land owned by Weld County, (known as the Baumgartner pit) more particularly described as follows, to-wit: The Southeast Quarter (SEA) of the Southeast Quarter (SE') of Section Fourteen (14) , Township One (1) North, Range Sixty-three (63) West of the 6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado, containing forty (40) acres more or less. said parcel of land is no longer needed by Weld County, Colorado and in order to clear the County records, this property should be Quit claimed to the owner, and WHEREAS, Larry Baumgartner, owner of said parcel, is willing to accept a Quit Claim Deed from the County of Weld. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Chairman of the Board be, and hereby is, authorized to sign a Quit Claim Deed from the County of Weld to Larry Baumgartner for the above described parcel of land. rr 810653 1.S71360 BOOK94� RECEPTION_........... a --; Page 2 RE : CORRECTED RESOLUTION The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 5th day of October, A.D. , 1981.
