WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home

Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
r, WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has reviewed the

request for an exemption from the definitions of "subdivision" and
"subdivided land" in Section 30-28-101 (10) , CR 1973, as amended, and
00 Section 2-1 A. (3) of the Weld County Subdivision Regulations, and
Dz WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners finds that Weld

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commis-
sioners that the abovedescribed parcels be, and hereby are, declared
to be exempt from the definitions of "subdivision" and "subdivided
land" as set forth in Section 30-28-101 (10) , CRS 1973 , as amended,
and Section 2-1 A. (3) of the Weld County Subdivision Regulations .
The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 10th day of

Dear Commissioners:
The attached application and related items are in reference to a request to
exempt, under Section 2-1 A. (3) of the Weld County Subdivision Regulations,
four parcels of land currently owned by Weld County. The parcels of land
on which this request has been made are described as part of Sections 1, 2,
11, 12, all in T5N, R65W of the 6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado. The
parcels are located approximately 2 miles east of the City of Greeley.
Based upon the information submitted, the Department of Planning Services
staff recommends the request be approved for the following reasons:
1. The parcels are not located in a flood plain or a geologic hazard
area.
2. The request is consistent with the policies of the Weld County
Comprehensive Plan.
3. The request will be compatible with the surrounding land uses.
