RE: AUTHORIZATION FOR THE CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD TO SIGN LETTER
OF INTENT CONCERNING FEDERAL FUNDS FOR EMERGENCY MEDICAL
EQUIPMENT
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Ambulance Services has been notified
that federal funds are available for emergency medical equipment,
and
WHEREAS, a letter of intent to apply for such funds must be
sent in by April 1 , 1981 , and
WHEREAS, the Board desires to apply for said federal funds
and deems it advisable to authorize the Chairman of the Board
to sign a letter of intent to apply for the funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commis-
sioners of Weld County, Colorado that the Chairman of the Board
be, and hereby is, authorized to sign a letter of intent to apply
for federal funds for emergency medical equipment.
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 30th day of
March, A.D. , 1981.
