Re: Martin Operated Gas Wells

The royalty payments you receive from Martin are in part a function of
the amount of natural gas delivered to various pipeline companies . Due to
current market conditions , some pipeline companies have required gas well
operators , including Martin, to substantially reduce natural gas deliveries
to them effective March 4, 1983 for an indefinite period of time.
In an effort to comply with their requirements in an equitable manner,
Martin will periodically shut in wells on a rotating basis .
Therefore , the royalties paid to you on your May, 1983 check, and on
future checks , may be lower due to the reduction of natural gas deliveries
to the pipeline.
