RE: REORGANIZATION OF BLOOD BANK USE COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado Statute and the Weld County Home Rule
Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of
Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado established a Blood Bank Use Committee, by resolution dated
April 6 , 1977, to monitor an established policy concerning the Weld
County Blood Bank, and
WHEREAS , the Blood Bank Committee has not been active for sometime,
but the need for a committee continues to exist , and
WHEREAS, a committee was established in August , 1980 to develop,
monitor and administer a policy for the Employees Sick Leave Bank, and
WHEREAS , the nature of the two Committees is similar and the
functions can be handled by one body rather than two .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commis-
sioners of Weld County, Colorado that the Weld County Sick Leave Bank
Governing Board shall also fulfill the responsibilities and functions
of the Blood Bank Committee .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that all terms and appointments of the
two committees shall be the same .
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and
seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 22nd day of December,
A.D. , 1980 .
