Home My WebLink About800356.tiff RESOLUTION RE: APPROVAL OF RATE INCREASE FOR COLORADO LANDFILL, INC. WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado held a public hearing on the 29th day of December, 1980 at the hour of 10:00 o'clock a.m. in the Chambers of the Board of County Commissioners for the purpose of considering a rate increase for Colorado Landfill, Inc. , and WHEREAS, the schedule for the proposed rate increase is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners heard all of the testimony of those present, and having been fully informed, finds that the rate increase for Colorado Landfill, Inc. should be approved. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado that the rate increase for Colorado Landfill, Inc. , as per the attached schedule, be, and hereby is, approved effective February 1, 1981. The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 29th day of December, A.D. , 1980. Mr. Gary Premer, public account for Colorado Landfill, Inc. , was present and reviewed their financial statement and audit report for the year ending November 30, 1980. Mr. LaVern Nelson, consulting engineer, elaborated on some of the extraordinary cost that Colorado Landfill, Inc. has incurred during the last year. Commissioner Dunbar made a motion to approve the rate increases as presented. Commissioner Roe seconded the motion and it carried unanimously.
