Home My WebLink About800165.tiff t • A I r f RESOLUTION / RE: APPROVAL OF ADDENDUM TO COOPERATIVE REIMBURSEMENT PROGRAM AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE WELD COUNTY ATTORNEY AND THE WELD COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES AND AUTHORIZATION FOR CHAIRMAN TO SIGN THE SAME. WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, a Cooperative Reimbursement Program Agreement was previously entered into between the Weld County Attorney and the Weld County Department of Social Services, and WHEREAS, the Weld County Attorney and the Weld County De- partment of Social Services wish to amend paragraph 3 of the agreement, and WHEREAS, an addendum to said agreement has been prepared amending paragraph 3 to read as follows : "3. Payment - Schedule and Amount. C. Indirect Costs . Nothwithstanding any other statement in this Agreement to the contrary, Attorney shall be entitled to reimbursement from Department for indirect costs to Attor- ney during calendar year 1979 based upon the 'Weld County, Colorado Consolidated County- • wide Cost Allocation Plan for the year ended December 31, 1979 ' prepared in accordance with the policies and procedures contained • in Federal Management Circular FMC 74-4. " WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has studied said addendum and deems it advisable to approve the same. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com- missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the addendum to the Cooperative Reimbursement Program Agreement be, and hereby is , approved. December, 1980, by and between the WELD COUNTY ATTORNEY, herein- after "Attorney, " and the WELD COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SER- VICES, hereinafter "Department. " WITNESSETH: WHEREAS, Federal Management Circular FMC 74-4 provides that direct, as well as indirect, costs for federally support programs may be reimbursed to counties by the federal government, and WHEREAS, Attorney and Department desire to enter into this • Agreement for the purpose of allowing the reimbursement of indirect costs for calendar year 1979 as documented in a "Consoli- dated County-wide Cost Allocation Plan" for the year ended December 31, 1979. NOW, THEREFORE, the Department and Attorney, in consideration of the promises and mutual covenants as hereinafter contained, do hereby agree to the following addition to Paragraph 3 of the "Cooperative Reimbursement Program Agreement - Weld County Depart- ment of Social Services" entered into by the parties hereto on or about July 14, 1976 : • "3.
