Gentlemen:
We have requested that you grant a permit to place a mobile
home on a tract approximately one acre in size in the Southeast
corner of our farm which is described as SW4 of Section 14 ,
Township 6 North, Range 67 West of the 6th P .M. except for the
area West of Number 2 canal and a small tract in the Northwest
corner of the Farm.
Our daughter and son in law, Susan Forsberg and David Forsberg.
now live in Greeley in a mobile home park. Our daughter and
her husband want to rear their children in a rural setting,
the same kind as our daughter was reared in. In this the
undersigned heartily concur.
Our son-in-law is not engaged in farming or in agriculture
so that he can provide a home "in the country" . The only way
to provide a rural home for a rural upbringing of children is
for our son-in-law and our daughter to acquire a tract of land
away from the city. Such tracts are rather scarce and always
expensive.
It is our desire to give the parcel to our daughter with-
out strings attached.
Our daughter and son-in-law expect to move their mobile
home onto the tract as soon as the necessary permits and
ordinances are passed.
The area in which the mobile home will be placed is the
least productive upon our farm. It is in an area which is not
being used to its potential. The structures which are on the
land will be used4Currently, they are not used and are an
open invitiation to vandals to come upon our farm to do damage.
We most respectfully request that you act favorably upon
our petition for a recorded exemption and for our applicationto
be permitted to place a mobile home upon the p pe Y.
Very truly yours,
