'� WHEREAS, the Weld County Board of Commissioners acknowledges the important role

WHEREAS, National Public Health Week, observed April 6 through 12, 2026, highlights :074
the contributions of public health professionals, organizations, and community partners
' /.. = working to prevent disease, promote wellness, and build healthier communities; and
i WHEREAS, the Weld County Department of Public Health and Environment supports
community health through programs and services focused on prevention, education,
�, : environmental health, emergency preparedness and access to care; and
WHEREAS, strong collaborative efforts, including partnerships with local public health

help Weld County address current health challenges, prepare for future needs and
` : support a healthier, more resilient community; and ,
ir WHEREAS, the 2026 theme, "Ready. Set. Action!" highlights the importance of '�
