Dear Senators Bennet and Hickenlooper,
On behalf of the Board of Weld County Commissioners, am sending this letter of support for the City of Evans'
Federal earmark Congressionally Directed Spending (CDS) application to assist the city in the rehabilitation of
important public infrastructure project.
The project submitted for consideration - Neville's Crossing non-potable water system and associated
irrigation pond - plays a vital role in reducing the use of potable water during the irrigation season. These
improvements will enhance system reliability, promote responsible water conservation, and ensure the
continued delivery of efficient irrigation services to the community.
Federal Funding would allow the City of Evans to leverage local resources and advance these important
infrastructure improvements, helping ensure the projects can be completed in 2027.
Weld County supports this very important funding request and hopes you will partner with them to improve the
quality of life of Evans and Weld County residents.Thank you in advance for your support.
