RE: APPOINTMENT OF ALVINA DERRERA TO THE WELD COUNTY GRIEVANCE
COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a vacancy currently exists on the Grievance Com-
mittee, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Alvina Derrera be
appointed to fill the unexpired term of Carolyn Eckas, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners desires to
appoint Alvina Derrera to the Grievance Committee with a term
to expire on March 1 , 1984.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that Alvina Derrera be, and
hereby is, appointed to the Grievance Committee with a term to
expire on March 1 , 1984 .
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 20th day of
July, A.D. , 1983.

Subject: Weld County Grievance Board Representative
In July, 1982, Ms. Alvina Derrera was elected by Human Resources staff to the
Weld County Grievance Board. Due to a family emergency, Alvina was placed on
a Leave of Absence and I requested she be replaced by the runner up in the
election, Ms. Carolyn Eckas.
At this time, I am requesting that Alvina be placed back on the Weld County
Grievance Board and Carolyn be dropped from the board. I am requesting this
change be made as soon as possible.

Dear Bob,
Please accept this letter as my resignation from the Weld County
Grievance Board effective immediately.
I was placed on the Board during the interim period when
Ms. Alvina Derrera was on a leave of absence. Ms. Derrera is now able
to resume her position as the representative from the Division of Human
Resources.
