RE: GRANT REQUEST OF THE GREELEY-WELD LEAGUE OF WOMEN VOTERS FOR
WAIVER OF RENTAL FEES FOR USE OF THE EXHIBITION BUILDING.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Greeley-Weld League of Women Voters has reserved
the Exhibition Building for the evening of October 23 , 1980 for a
Candidates' Fair, and
WHEREAS, the Greeley-Weld League of Women Voters has requested
that the rental fee for use of the Exhibition Building be waived,
and
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners desires to grant
said request provided the standard agreement for use of the Exhi-
bition Building is signed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the request of the Greeley-
Weld League of Women Voters for waiver of the rental fee for use
of the Exhibition Building be, and hereby is , granted provided
the standard agreement for use of said building is signed .
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 14th day of
April, A.D. , 1980.

Dear Commissioners:
The Greeley-Weld League of Women Voters has reserved the
Exhibition Building at Island Grove Park for the evening of
October 23, 1980 for a Candidates' Fair. This Fair will be
open to the public as a voter's service project of the League and
several other sponsoring organizations . All candidates for
public office will be invited to attend. Here the public can
meet the candidates face to face in an informal atmosphere .
We would like to request that the County Commissioners waive
the rental fee for this occasion. If you have any questions
concerning this, please call me at 454-2202.
