A public hearing was conducted on March 18, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., with the following
present:
Commissioner Scott K. James, Chair
Commissioner Jason S. Maxey, Pro-Tem
Commissioner Perry L. Buck
Commissioner Lynette Peppler
Commissioner Kevin D. Ross
Also present:
Acting Clerk to the Board, Jess Reid
Deputy County Attorney, Karin McDougal
Department of Planning Services Representative, Matthew VanEyll
The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a Notice dated February 26, 2026, and duly published
February 28, 2026, in the Greeley Tribune, a public hearing was conducted on March 18,
2026, to consider the request of Froman Ranchettes Landowners, Attn: Thomas and
Valerie Minnig, for Planned Unit Development Change of Zone Amendment,
PUDZ25-0002, to Froman Ranchette PUD (Z-229) to increase the animal units, include
a kennel use on Lot 9, and further clarify uses on Lots 1-9. Karin McDougal, Deputy
County Attorney, made this a matter of record.
Matthew VanEyll, Department of Planning Services, stated there was an error in the legal
description of the Notice that was published and mailed, therefore, requested a
continuance to April 8, 2026, to allow a corrected Notice to be published and mailed.
No public testimony was offered concerning this matter.
Commissioner Buck moved to continue the matter to April 8, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., to allow
a corrected Notice to be published and mailed. The motion was seconded by
Commissioner Ross, it carried unanimously, and the hearing was adjourned. (Clerk's
