ORDINANCE NO. 119-A
IN THE MATTER OF AN AMENDMENT TO ORDINANCE NO. 119, WELD COUNTY BUILDING CODE
ORDINANCE, REVISING CERTAIN PROCEDURES, TERMS, AND REQUIREMENTS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF WELD COUNTY, COLORADO:
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested

with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and

U WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has the power and authority
under the Weld County Home Rule Charter and Article 28 of Title 30 CRS 1973,

o rx to adopt building codes for the unincorporated areas of the County of Weld,

N a WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
adopted Ordinance No. 119, Weld County Building Code Ordinance, establishing a
d a comprehensive revision of the building code requirements for the

r- 2 unincorporated areas of the County of Weld, and

M E+ WHEREAS, said Ordinance No. 119 is in need of revision, updating, and

clarification with regards to procedures, terms, and requirements therein.

2 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of County Commissioners of

o r.4 Weld County, Colorado, that said Ordinance No. 119 is amended by the addition
W W or revision of various sections, which shall read as follows:

o Amend Section 20.3 by:

H Delete "1981 Edition, NFPA No. 70-1981," and replace it with "1984

Edition, NFPA No. 70-1984".
Amend Section 20.9.6.2 by:
Delete the word "of" and replace with the word "or" in the fourth
line of the text as now printed.
Amend Section 20.9.6.4 by:
The addition of the sentence: "Mobile homes over fifty (50) feet in
length shall have a minimum of six (6) frame ties." Inserted before
the last sentence in the section.
Amend Section 50. 1.5 by:
Delete that part of the text which reads "in 'e. '" in the last
sentence of the Section.

The above and foregoing Ordinance No. 119—A was, on motion duly made and
seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 26th day of March , A.D. ,
1984.
