Pursuant to the provisions of Section 16-6 of the Weld County Home Rule Charter, public
notice is given of a contract for expenditure of over $2.5 million for the purchase of the
property commonly known as Motor Pool Complex Renovation and Addition, pursuant to
Bid #B2500154, and located at 1399 North 17th Avenue, Greeley, Colorado 80631. The
contract will be considered for approval by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County in the Centennial Hearing Room at 1150 O Street, Greeley, Colorado 80631, at
the date and time specified below. The public is welcome to be present and testify at the
Board meeting about the expenditure. The Clerk to the Board's Office can be contacted

Statement Provided By Jennifer Oftelie (Budget Manager):
The Motor Pool Complex Renovation and Addition was budgeted in the capital fund through both 2024
and 2025. The project scope was changed at the end of 2024, and the amount needed to finish this
project in 2026 exceeds the $2.5 million budgeted expenses for the 2026 budget. We have the unused
fund balance from the prior year budgets to cover the majority of this request.
Previous Budget Request Details (Facilities):
• 2024 original budget $11.9 M
• 2025 supplemental due to scope changes $7 M
• 2025 DOLA grant award $600,000
• Total project budget $19.5 M
• County 20% contingency $3.9 M
• Grand total for project including contingency $23.4 M
Details of Construction Contract Award:
• Contract #10415
• Awarded to TCC Corporation
• Bid 62500154
• Amount = $19,996,954.00
• 3/11/2026 BOCC Approved (Consent Agenda)
Facilities will be working with the BOCC and Finance department to ensure this project is accounted for
correctly as a supplemental request for 2026.
