HomeMy WebLinkAbout20260586 Resolution Establish Neighborhood to be Served, Designate Commissioner to Make On-Site Inspection, and Set Hearing Date Concerning Application for Entertainment Facility (County) Liquor License — The Rockin S, LLC, dba Rockin S Ranch Whereas, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and Whereas, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, at a public meeting held on the 16th day of March, 2026, heard evidence to assist in establishing the neighborhood to be served, designating a Commissioner to make an on-site inspection, and setting the hearing date concerning the application of The Rockin S, LLC, dba Rockin S Ranch, 6943 County Road 56, Johnstown, Colorado 80534, for an Entertainment Facility (County) Liquor License, and Whereas, the Board did determine that the following described area should comprise the neighborhood to be served concerning said application, to-wit: All of Sections 7, 8, 17, 18, 19, 17, 19, and 20, Township 5 North, Range 67 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado Whereas, the Board further determined that Commissioner Scott K. James should be designated to make the on-site inspection concerning said application, and Whereas, the Board further determined that the hearing to consider said application shall be scheduled for April 15, 2026, at the hour of 9:00 a.m. Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the above described area be, and hereby is, established as the neighborhood to be served concerning the application of The Rockin S, LLC, dba Rockin S Ranch, for an Entertainment Facility (County) Liquor License. Be it further resolved by the Board that Commissioner Scott K. James, be, and hereby is, designated to make the on-site inspection concerning said application.
