Box 758 COUNTY, CO Greeley, CO 80632 March 10, 2026 The Honorable Gabe Evans United States House of Representatives Washington, D.C. 20515 Dear Congressman Evans, On behalf of the Weld County Board of Commissioners, we write in support of Fort Lupton's proposal to improve the intersection of Highway 52 and College Avenue. As you know, Highway 52 is an important corridor in our county and the City of Fort Lupton. Industrial and commercial businesses as well as residents throughout the Front Range utilize Highway 52 daily. Recently, the city has conducted planning and community engagement efforts to study and understand community preferences for the intersection. Weld County is hopeful that your office can prioritize the preferred alternative solution of traffic lights for the intersection. Fort Lupton is a responsible partner, and we know they will utilize the funding appropriately and expedite final design and construction for the project as quickly and efficiently as possible. Weld County appreciates your work to bring federal resources home for our communities. Sincerely, Scott K.
