This allowed the Roughriders to shine among ,:',,,ii„,,,,:: } v'tI, tough competition and finish ahead of second place Holy Family by less than a point to;i win the Class 4A state championship—the programs fifth in a row; andi) . WHEREAS, winning one state championship is difficult enough — winning five 7 li III consecutive is simply remarkable. The pours team at Roosevelt has created a dynasty, 3' t �� and it's one born out of athleticism, talent, hard work, and determination. The commitment of athletes, coaches and parents is reflected in each state championship ;,� y victory; and � § WHEREAS, the success of Roosevelt is not only reflected in championship hardware but i f also in postseason accolades. Seniors Abby Leibman and Hope Mayer were named all- ' ' 1, ,`�- 'l 1 state by the Colorado High School Activities Association, and Head Coach Brittany % � Coleman was named 4A Coach of the Year; and WHEREAS, know that the pride we, as a board, feel reflects appreciation for the athletic ' .., ':.: �. ? talent shown, along with many individual character traits that will aid our youth well £r r, beyond this accomplishment.
