WHEREAS, the Windsor Wizards all-girl cheer team competed in the state spirit 5f
'` championships on Saturday, Dec. 13, at the Denver Coliseum; and ;tl

�,�' WHEREAS, the Wizards took home the Class 4A state championship, turning in a score of
,' ' 86.40 in the finals. It was a victory that showed resilience, as the senior-laden team
bounced back from four point deductions and a sixth-place finish in the preliminary :74

WHEREAS, such a turnaround exemplified a strong will built on resolve, accountability,
�. 5 and teamwork — traits that earned the team a second consecutive state l
V championship and notice from the Colorado High School Activities Association. Seniors '
A %` Jayden Warnock and Ashtyn Watson were named all state, while Head Coach ' ;
f Samantha Murray earned Coach of the Year honors; and 1, _\y.
s WHEREAS, there are many things that make a state championship special: the athletic -
., ., dominance; the special bonds formed among teammates; and the feeling of lifting a 1Ir1
championship trophy in front of parents and loved ones, whose continued support is , ;�
