Approve Appointment of Chris D'Ovidio as Controller for Weld County
Whereas, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
Whereas, the Controller position is under the supervision of the Chief Financial Officer
and Director of Finance, and
Whereas, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Chris D'Ovidio as the Controller for
Weld County, replacing Rusty Williams.
Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that Chris D'Ovidio be, and hereby is, appointed as the Controller for Weld
County, effective March 1 , 2026.
The Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, adopted the above
and foregoing Resolution, on motion duly made and seconded, by the following vote on
the 25th day of February, A.D., 2026:
