Approve Appointment of Caleb Sulzen as Chief Building Official of Weld County
Department of Planning Services
Whereas, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
Whereas, by Resolution #2025-0726, dated March 17, 2025, David Eisenbraun was
appointed as Interim Building Official of the Weld County Department of Planning
Services, and
Whereas, as a result of a vacancy in the Department of Planning Services, the Board •
deems it advisable to appoint Caleb Sulzen as the Chief Building Official of the Weld
County Department of Planning Services, effective October 27, 2025.
Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that Caleb Sulzen be, and hereby is, appointed as the Weld County Chief
Building Official.
The Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, approved the above
and foregoing Resolution, on motion duly made and seconded, by the following vote on
the 9th day of February, A.D., 2026, nunc pro tunc October 27, 2025:
