RE: APPROVE INSTALLATION OF "STOP" AND "STOP AHEAD" SIGNS AT
WELD COUNTY ROAD 378 AND INSTALLATION OF "30 MPH" TRAFFIC
DEVICE AT WELD COUNTY ROAD 27. 5
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Department of Engineering has in-
formed the Board that "stop" and "stop ahead"signs are needed
at Weld County Road 378 and a "30 MPH" traffic device is needed
at Weld County Road 27. 5, to insure safety to the traveling
public, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, upon the recommendation of the Weld County Department
of Engineering, has determined that said traffic devices are
necessary for the protection of the general public.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the Department of Engi-
neering is directed to install "stop" and "stop ahead" signs at
Weld County Road 378 and install a "30 MPH" traffic device at
Weld County Road 27. 5 for the safety of the general public, and
that said signs must conform to the State manual and specifications.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 15th day of
November, A.D. , 1982.
