Approve Appointment to 911 Emergency Telephone Service Authority Board
Whereas,the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
Whereas, a vacancy currently exists on the 911 Emergency Telephone Service Authority
Board, and
Whereas, the Weld County Board of Commissioners deems it advisable to appoint
Lieutenant Gerald Porter to said board as the Sheriff's Office Appointee, with a term to
expire January 12, 2027.
Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that Lieutenant Gerald Porter be, and hereby is, appointed to the
911 Emergency Telephone Service Authority Board, with a term to expire January 12,
2027.
The Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, approved the above
and foregoing Resolution, on motion duly made and seconded, by the following vote on
the 2nd day of February, A.D., 2026:
