RESOLUTION
RE: AUTHORIZATION FOR WELD COUNTY ENGINEER TO OBTAIN RIGHT-OF-WAY
FROM JAMES WHITMORE FOR WELD COUNTY BRIDGE 27/62B.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to acquire 1/10 of an acre of land
from James Whitmore for right-of-way purposes for the construction
of Weld County Bridge 27/62B, and
WHEREAS, it is also necessary to obtain a construction ease-
ment of approximately 70 x 1000 feet from the said James Whitmore,
said easement to be temporary, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Whitmore agrees to donate the 1/10 acres for
right-of-way purposes and also the construction easement in
exchange for some gravel from the County's gravel pit, and
WHEREAS, the Board desires to authorize the Weld County
Engineer to proceed with the aforementioned transaction.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the Weld County Engineer
be, and hereby is, authorized to proceed with the aforementioned
transaction.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 20th day of
February, A.D. , 1980.
