RESOLUTION
RE: ACCEPT AND DEDICATE RIGHT-OF-WAY FROM MARTHA A. WILLIAMS
CONCERNING WELD COUNTY ROAD 161/2
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Engineer has informed the Board
of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado that construc-
tion is necessary on Weld County Bridge 16i/1A, said construc-
tion to include realignment on Weld County Road 161, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Engineer has further informed the
Board that a Quit Claim Deed has been obtained from Martha A.
Williams, whose property would be affected by said construction,
and
coo WHEREAS, the property deeded to Weld County by Martha A.
Williams is located in the NW4 SW4 of Section 29, Township 2
North, Range 68 West of the 6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado

cohi being more particularly described as follows, to-wit:
Part of the Northwest quarter (N.W.4) of
the Southwest quarter (S.W.4) of Section
29, Township 2 North, Range 68 West of
LUC the 6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado being
more particularly described as follows :
Beginning at the West quarter corner (W4 Cor)
of said Section 29 and considering the West
line of the Northwest quarter (N.W.4) of the
Southwest quarter (S.W.4) of said Section
29 to bear South 00°12 ' 48" West and with
all other bearings contained herein relating
thereto: Thence South 89°56 ' 17" East a
distance of 574. 06 feet, more or less , along
the North line of Northwest quarter (N.W.4)
of the Southwest quarter (S.W.4) of said
Section 29; Thence South 00°03 ' 43" West,
a distance of 55. 00 feet, more or less, to
the true point of beginning (T.P.O.B. ) ;
Thence, along the curve to the left whose
radius is 389. 56 feet and whose long chord
bears South 74°48 ' 00" West, a distance of
206. 59 feet, more or less. Said curve being
parallel and 30. 00 feet distant from the
center line of the road as newly constructed.
Thence, along the existing fence line the

Said described parcel contains 0. 039 acres,

WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable and in the best interest

of Weld County to accept said Quit Claim Deed and dedicate the
above described property as a portion of Weld County Road 16?.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the acceptance of the
Quit Claim Deed from Martha A. Williams and the dedication of
- the above described property be, and hereby is, approved.

RE: QUIT CLAIM DEED - Martha A. Williams
NW'SW1/4 Section 29, Township 2 North, Range 68 West
The Quit Claim Deed from Martha A. Williams, a copy of which is attached
hereto, is for right-of-way needed in the construction of County Bridge 16z/1A.
After conferring with Lee Morrison of the County Attorney's office, and
Drew Scheltinga, County Engineer, this tiem is placed on the agenda for your
action - to accept and dedicate this parcel as County right-of-way.
