Home My WebLink About840665.tiff RESOLUTION RE: APPROVE CONTINUANCE OF HEARING FOR CHANGE OF ZONE - COLORADO JOCKEY CLUB WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, a hearing for a Change of Zone, from A (Agricultural) to PUD (Planned Unit Development) requested by Colorado Jockey Club, was scheduled for November 21 , 1984 , and WHEREAS , the Weld County Planning Commission, at its hearing concerning this matter, continued this item to December 4 , 1984 , and WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to continue its Change of Zone hearing for Colorado Jockey Club to December 19 , 1984 , at 2 :00 p.m. , in order to allow this matter to be heard by the Planning Commission. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Change of Zone hearing requested by Colorado Jockey Club be, and hereby is, continued to December 19 , 1984 , at 2 : 00 p.m. The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 21st day of November, A.D. , 1984 . Morrison Planning Department Director, Chuck Cunliffe The following business was transacted: I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated October 15, 1984, and duly published October 18 and November 8, 1984, in the La Salle Leader, a public hearing was conducted to consider the application of Colorado Jockey Club for a Change of Zone from Agricultural to Planned Unit Development. Assistant County Attorney Lee Morrison read this application into the record. Chairman N. Carlson stated that the Planning Commission voted to continue its hearing concerning this matter to December 4, 1984; therefore, the Board must continue this hearing to a later date. After discussion, Commissioner Johnson moved to continue this hearing to December 19, 1984, at 2:00 P.M.
