RE: APPROVE INSTALLATION OF VARIOUS TEMPORARY TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES
ON COUNTY ROAD 132
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS,the Weld County Department of Public Works has recommended to the Board
that various temporary signs, as designated in the Cedar Creek II Speed Limit Control Plan, be
installed on County Road 132,for a period commencing August 4, 2010, and ending December 31,
2010, to ensure safety to the traveling public, and
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that said temporary traffic control devices are
necessary for the protection of the general public.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado,that the Department of Public Works be, and hereby is, directed to install various
temporary signs, as designated in the Cedar Creek II Speed Limit Control Plan, on County
Road 132,for a period commencing August 4, 2010, and ending December 31, 2010,for the safety
of the general public, and said signs shall conform to the State Manual of Uniform Traffic Control
Devices.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 4th day of August, A.D., 2010.
