Pipeline Company Septic Permit; Tetra Tech Job No. 133-23474.08001 To Whom It May Concern: The septic system for the Suncor Energy (U.S.A.) Pipeline Company site will be sized based on a maximum of 8 employees per an 8-hour shift. The ISDS will be designed based on a maximum daily flow of 180 gallons per day. The ISDS will use a 1000-gallon two-compartment septic tank and Quick Four Standard Infiltrator® Chambers. Based upon the preliminary calculations, the system will be sufficient to handle the proposed flow. The absorption trenches are to be constructed with Quick Four Standard Infiltrator® • Chambers installed in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations. A minimum of one foot (1') and a maximum of two feet (2') of fill material will then be placed over the units. The on-site soils can be used as cover material. The cover material will be installed with loose fill and minimum compaction. The Engineered System will be designed in accordance with Weld County Individual Sewage Disposal System Regulations. The owner will be required to meet the required distance criteria as shown in Appendix 30-B of the Individual Sewage Disposal System Regulations for Weld County. The absorption field shall be constructed in the general vicinity of percolation test holes. The proposed system can be constructed in the proposed location without endangering the public health, safety, and well being of the public. If you have any questions, please give me a call.
