RE: AMBULANCE FEES FOR SPECIFIC SERVICES.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado Statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Director of the Weld County Ambulance Services has forwarded
the attached letter concerning new procedures and proposed charges for the
ambulance services, and
WHEREAS, the procedures and proposed charges are as follows:
1. Pericardiocentesis -- $30.00
2. Tension Pneumothorax Decompression $40.00
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado that the new procedures and charges listed above are
hereby added to the Weld County Ambulance rates, effective immediately.
The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 10th day of May, A.D. , 1982.

subject: Addition to Ambulance Charges
We have recently adopted two new medical procedures
for which there is no charge in our present rate
structure . The new procedures and the proposed
charges are listed below:

Procedure Charge
Pericardiocentesis $30. 00

Decompression $40. 00
Bill , these proposed charges need to be added to
our rates and that needs Board action . If you let
me know when the Board considers this item , I ' ll
