Dear Mr. &Mrs. Coyne:
This letter is in response to a request for water service to serve the following property described as follows:
Lot A Recorded Exemption No. 1311-27-3-RE1796 recorded February 6, 1996 in Book 1531 at
Reception No. 2475236,being part W '/2 Section 27,Township 2 North,Range 67 West,Weld
County, Colorado
Water service is presently available to the above described property by tap number 1476 located at Weld
County Road 19 between Weld County Roads 16& 18.Additional water service can be made available to
this property,provided all requirements of Central Weld County Water District,Northern Colorado Water
Conservancy District and the Bureau are satisfied. Please note that you are responsible for confirming
that this property has met the requirements of Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District and
• the Bureau of Reclamation.To do this,you may contact Marilyn Conley with Northern Colorado
Water Conservancy District at 970.532.7700. Central Weld cannot issue a tap until all requirements are
satisfied. The District is aware of the special use permit for the small dog training business and has no
opposition.
Central Weld County Water District requires that contracts be consummated within one(1)year from the
date of this letter or this letter shall become null and void unless extended in writing by the District. Please
contact the Central Weld office for further information about water service. Due to the rapid cost increase of
raw water,existing tap fees may not apply for water service to this property. The District will not notify, by
separate letter, any prospective landowners or land purchasers of tap fee or line extension cost increases. The
cost of a tap fee and/or improvements will have to be paid in advance to the District by the prospective
customer in accordance with District policy.
It is your responsibility to confirm with your local Fire Protection Authority if fire flow water capacity is
required for your project.

The primary owner of this property runs a small business on site and Weld County is requesting the
owners septic system be able to handle all household uses and any extra use as a result of this business.
Known:
• 3 bedroom home,2.5 baths
• According to original septic installation documents the system was designed for 4 people living
at the residence. The installed septic tank is 1250 gal and the absorption bed is 1134 sq. ft.
(See Attachment)
• Currently two people reside at the residence full time.
• According to the soil conservation service the soil type is fine sandy loam.
• Actual usage:5,000 gallons in December and 6,000 gallons in January,which induded the use of
her restroom by an estimated two additional people a day(clients and three trainers).
• No clients or trainers stay overnight.
General Septic System Design Information:
• • Septic System Design:Weld County flow volumes are seventy-five gallons per day(GPO)as a
standard volume of sewage generated by one occupant of a dwelling.This accounts for food
preparation,clothes washing,toilet and bath wastes,everything except watering the lawn.
Design Information:
• Design capacity of septic system(According to original septic Installation documents):2
bedroom,4 people(4 people x 75 gallons per day a 300 GPD or 9,000 Gallons per month)
• Actual household usage(which Includes but is not limited to:water needed for 2 occupants
and their needs(food preparation,dothes washing,toilet and bath wastes),clients and three
trainers,and any water needed for dogs):5,000 gallons December,6,000 gallons January(see
attachment). The design value of 6,000 gallons per day will be used for calculation purposes.
This value was selected because January's usage Is representative of what water is actually used
in the household(i.e.no outside usage of water needed for trees, plants,etc.),and therefore
ends up in the septic system.
The existing septic system is adequately designed to handle all the needs of the household and her small
business.

per day will be used for calculation purposes. This value was the January usage which is likely to
have minimal usage for outside sources. It would still be considered conservative because it
does include all water used on the property including water usage which would not go into a
septic system(water trees,water for dogs,etc.)

The issuance of this permit does not imply compliance with other state, county or local regulatory or building requirements, nor
shall it act to certify that the subject system will operate in compliance with applicable state, county and local regulations
adopted persuant to Article 10, Title 25, CRS as amended, except for the purpose of establishing final approval of installed
system for issuance of a local occupancy permit persuant to CRS 1973 25-10-111 (2).
This permit is not transferable. The Weld County Health Department reserves the right to impose additional terms and conditions
required to meet our regulations on a continuing basis. Final permit approval was contingent upon the final inspection of the
completed system by the Weld County Health Department.
