RE : EXTENSION OF AGREEMENT WITH HOUCHEN BINDERY, LTD. FOR
BOOKBINDING
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, on the 25th day of July, 1983 , Houchen Bindery,
Ltd. and Weld County entered into an agreement concerning book-
binding, and
WHEREAS , the original term of the agreement was for the
period of July 1, 1983, to June 30 , 1984 , and
WHEREAS , it has been brought to the Board' s attention that
Houchen Bindery, Ltd. has offered to extend the agreement for a
twelvemonth period of time, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to waive
the bid procedure and extend the term of said agreement for a
twelve month period, with no change in the terms, until June 30 ,
1985.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the bid procedure be,
and hereby is, waived concerning bookbinding.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the agreement
between Houchen Bindery, Ltd. and Weld County be, and hereby is,
extended for a twelve month period, until June 30 , 1985.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 18th day of
June, A.D. , 1984 .

EXTENSION OF AGREEMENT I I v
FOR BOOKBINDING SERVICES
WHEREAS , on July 25 , 1983 , the Board of County Commissioners
of Weld County, Colorado and Houchen Bindery Ltd. entered into
an agreement concerning bookbinding services, and
WHEREAS , the original terms of the agreement were for the
period of July 1 , 1983 , to June 30 , 1984 , and
WHEREAS , Houchen Bindery Ltd. has offered to extend the
agreement for a twelve month period of time , and
WHEREAS , both parties to the agreement agree to the extension
of the terms of the agreement, the agreement is hereby amended to
extend the terms of the agreement for a twelve month period, until
June 30 , 1985.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF , the parties hereto have duly executed
this agreement on the 20th day of June, A.D. , 1984 .

Dear Ms Rhoden
We have been working with Weld County Library on the binding
of your worn books for over two years now, and it has been
a good business relationship. We are noting that most of
our prices for binding have been increased to us in the
last 60 days, but our plant is becoming more efficient
with additions of equipment. Therefore, there are a few
accounts we are offering to extend the existing last 12
months pricing to for the next 12 months.
We hope you will consider this offer also.
