RESOLUTION RE: APPROVE CONTINUANCE OF HEARING FOR USE BY SPECIAL REVIEW, OIL AND GAS PRODUCTION IN THE R-1 DISTRICT - R.A. RESOURCES, INC. WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado , and WHEREAS , a Use by Special Review hearing was scheduled for R.A. Resources , Inc. on May 23 , 1984 , at 2 : 00 p.m. , as stated in the Notice dated May 7 , 1984 , and published in the LaSalle Leader on May 10 , 1984 , and WHEREAS , the applicant has requested that said hearing be continued to May 30 , 1984 , at 2 : 00 p.m. , and WHEREAS , the Board deems it appropriate to continue said Use by Special Review hearing, requested by R.A. Resources , Inc . , to May 30 , 1984 , at 2 : 00 p.m. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com- missioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Use by Special Re- view hearing, requested by R.A. Morrison Planning Department Representative, James Mayerl The following business was transacted: I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated May 7, 1984, and duly pub- lished in the La Salle Leader on May 10, 1984, a public hearing was con- ducted to consider the application of R.A. Resources, Inc. for a Use by Special Review for oil and gas production in the R-1 District. Chairman N. Carlson explained that since only three Commissioners were present, the applicant could request a continuance of this hearing to a date when all five Commissioners will be present. Lee Morrison, Assistant County Attorney, read this application into the record. Jim Mayerl read a letter from the applicant requesting that this hearing be continued to May 30, 1984. Com- missioner C. Carlson moved to continue the Use by Special Review hearing re- quested by R.A. Resources, Inc. to May 30, 1984, at 2:00 p.m. Commissioner Johnson seconded the motion, which carried unanimously.
