RE: APPOINTMENTS AND RE-APPOINTMENTS TO THE COMMUNICATIONS
ADVISORY BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, three vacancies currently exist on the Communica-
tions Advisory Board due to the expiration of the terms of Gil
Olson, Robert Staggs and Eugene Whitcomb, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners deems it advisable
to re-appoint Gil Olson, Robert Staggs and Eugene Whitcomb to
the Communications Advisory Board for terms to expire on
December 31, 1982, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the amended Communications Advisory
Board By-Laws adopted by the Board of County Commissioners on
August 11, 1980, said Advisory Board has been expanded to include
11 members, and the Board of County Commissioners deems it
advisable to appoint Jerry Wones for a term to expire December 31,
1981 and Amos Finch for a term to expire December 31, 1982.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that Gil Olson, Robert Staggs ,
and Eugene Whitcomb be, and hereby are, re-appointed to the Com-
munications Advisory Board for terms to expire December 31, 1982, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners
of Weld County, Colorado that Jerry Wones is hereby appointed to
the Communications Advisory Board for a term to expire December 31,
1981, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners
of Weld County, Colorado that Amos Finch is hereby appointed to
the Communications Advisory Board for a term to expire on
December 31, 1982.
