RE: AUTHORIZATION FOR WELD COUNTY TREASURER TO CANCEL COUNTY
CERTIFICATE NO. 393 OF THE 1974 TAX SALE WITH THE 1974 ,
1975 AND 1976 TAXES ENDORSED THEREON IN THE AMOUNT OF
$1,769. 00.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Treasurer has requested authoriza-
tion to cancel County Tax Sale Certificate No. 393 of the 1974
tax sale with the 1974, 1975 and 1976 taxes endorsed thereon,
on improvements only in the South Half of Section 31, Township
1 North, Range 66 West, Sylmar Manor Mobile Home Park as the
improvements thereon were removed in 1973, and because of this
error, the owner of the certificate will be reimbursed in the
amount of $1,769. 00, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado believes it to be in the best interests of Weld County
to cancel said tax sale certificate as requested by the Weld
County Treasurer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the Weld County Trea-
surer be, and hereby is, authorized to cancel County Tax Sale
Certificate No. 393 of the 1974 tax sale for the 1973 taxes with
the 1974 , 1975 and 1975 taxes endorsed thereon in the amount of
$1,769. 00.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 18th day of
June, A.D. , 1980.
